The immersion blender whips mayo quickly and fits right into your mason jar. I like using an immersion blender because I can get thick and creamy mayo super quick with little effort. I just add all the ingredients into a mason jar and use the immersion blender to mix without making a ton of dishes.

How to Make Homemade Mayonnaise

  1. Add egg, lemon juice, mustard, salt, pepper, and oil to a wide mouth mason jar.
  2. Next, using your immersion blender, mix the ingredients starting at the bottom of the jar and blending the egg until it is creamy. It will take about a minute or so to start to get the thick and creamy mayo consistence.
  3. Move the immersion blender up to mix in the rest of the ingredients and any oil that my still be sitting on top. This will take about 1-2 more minutes.
